Test Results

If you have recently had a blood test, or had another sample sent to the hospital for testing, or if you have had a recent scan, the best time to call for results is after 2pm. Results can take up to a week to come back to us unless otherwise stated by the GP or nurse.

If your results were abnormal or the GP needs to discuss them with you, we will always contact you by phone or letter, if you do not hear anything from us, chances are your results came back normal.

Please note that results always go to the clinician or consultant that requested them, therefore if a consultant at the hospital requested your tests, we may not receive the results, in which case you would need to contact that consultant's secretary. If you require a print-out of your results, the receptionist can provide this, as long as the results have been reviewed by a clinician first.

Please login to your GP online service account to enquire about your test results. If not registered, we would recommend you to register for GP online services, by using one of the links below.

Please note: The NHS App allows you to get registered without the need to visit the practice.

Through Patient access and NHS app, you will also have the ability to Book or Cancel an Appointment, Request a Repeat Prescription, Change Personal Details and View your Medical Records without visiting the practice.

Alternatively, if you have queries on your test results, you can submit an Online Consultation
