All of our practice nurses are fully qualified and registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC).
The nurses can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and dressings. They also run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes, minor ailment clinics and carry out cervical smears.
Suzie is our lead Diabetic & Respiratory Nurse. She carries out annual reviews and helps support patients in managing their long term health conditions.
Suzie is also one of the Triage Nurses and works alongside the Duty Doctor in managing 'on the day' acute health problems for patients. Suzie has recently completed her nurse prescriber training.
Suzie also carries out Child Immunisations as well as Travel Immunisations and advice. She is also one of the women's health nurses and carries out cervical smears and contraceptive pill checks.

Trish has particluar interest in Childrens Health and Travel Immunisations but also carries out other routine Treatment Room care for our patients. She is also a trained Diabetic nurse and works alongside her colleagues in supporting and managing their long term conditions.
Trish is also the Practice Care Plan coordinator working alongside the rest of the clinical team and key admin staff to identify and support patients who are more likely to have unplanned admissions to hospital. Her role requires her to visit patients in their home to help assess both their health and social care needs.
Kate is a longstanding member of the nursing team and has a special interest in Women's Health and is the lead nurse for the practice in this area.
Lynley works as a treatment room nurse returning to nursing 5 years ago.

Aine joined the practice in 2016 and was new to practice nursing.
She has extended her nursing skills and knowledge in the last year including her training for Travel and Childhood Immunisations as well as additional training in Diabetes management.
