Bracknell Minor Injury pathway accepting walk-in patients from Monday 19th July 

 

To help our system during this busy time, the minor injury service situated at Bracknell Urgent Care Centre, London Road, Bracknell will accept  walk-in patients from Monday 19th July. 

The minor injury service accepts the following conditions: 

  • Sprains and strains 
  • Suspected broken limbs 
  • Minor head injuries  
  • Cuts and grazes 
  • Bites and stings 
  • Minor scalds and burns 
  • Skin infections 

 

Please note however that x-ray is available every day with the exception of Saturdays, due to availability of radiographers. The aim is to move to seven days as soon as possible and we will inform you when the situation changes. Patients attending the service on Saturdays requiring a non-urgent x-ray will be booked into an appointment the following day. Where deemed clinically urgent they will be referred to their nearest Emergency Department.  

Please note that this service is for minor injury only. Patients walking in with minor illness will be asked to contact primary care
