Practice Management

The practice management team has responsibility in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology.

They support the partners as well as the GP's and other health professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

Mrs Maggie Parish (f)

Practice Manager

Maggie has worked in the practice since 2008 and in primary care as a practice manager for approximately 20 years.

Her role as practice manager is wide and varied and includes finance, recruitment & HR, H&S, premises and strategic management of the practice.

She works closely with the partners on the development of the practice and responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the premises as well as the recruitment and retention of staff.

Maggie sits as the Practice Manager representative on the CCG's Governing Body. She is also the Business Manager for the Provider arm of the practice - UGR Patient Services -  managing and overseeing the Community Pain Service and the  Advanced MSK & Diagnostic Service.

Mrs Lesley Harris (f)

Practice Manager Assistant

Lesley works as a Practice Manager Assistant supporting the manager in the day to day running of the practice.

Her particular role centres around Administration of the Quality and Outcome Framework which supports the NHS Income for the practice as well as overseeing the invitations and recall of patients with chronic diseases such as Diabetes.

Lesley also has joint responsibility for the running of the premises.

Mrs Denise Riseley (f)

Practice Manager Assistant

Denise works as a Practice Manager Assistant supporting the manager in the day to day running of the practice.

Her particular role centres around manning and timetabling doctors clinics as well as overseeing the administration of non NHS paperwork such as Insurance and Medical reports and requests for medical records.

Denise also has joint responsibility for the running of the premises.

Mrs Ranee Sidhu (f)

Patient Liaison / Reception Manager

Ranee Sidhu joined the practice at the beginning of September 2018 as Reception and Patient Services Manager. Ranee has worked in a very large busy practice in a similar role and brings with her a wealth of knowledge, experience and fresh ideas. She joins our management team to work alongside the Partners in developing and improving internal processes and services to our patients.

Practice Administrator - Lesley Barnes

Lesley oversees the Policies and Protocols for the practice as well as Information Governance and working with colleagues on the invitation and recall of chronic disease patients.

Lesley also has responsibility for overseeing Patient Access services

Nurse Team Administrator

Marian's role is to support and assist the nurse clinical team with managing their workload, ordering stock and supplies and ensuring that appointments are filled and appropriately trafficked to make the best use of resources. She works closely with the lead nurse and GP in maintaining and monitoring infection control within the practice.
